I saw how good the Nissan Silvia S15: Kei Office D1GP is, you can drift and race with quite a bit of realism. Other cars just for drifting tend to be slow or difficult to handle in normal racing. Edit2:Cerbera was designing a handling overhaul for very realistic handling but I think he stopped it.
