I am attempting to update my komplete audio 6. I have version 2.9.9 Driver 2.9.9 firmware 29 Device 26386917 published in 2011 I am running windows 7 Home Premium. 3GHz processor. The two updates available from NI are: Komplete Audio 6 driver 4.2.0 - windows 7 and above 25MB Device Updater 1.2. Ibm Thinkpad Type 2611 Manual Dexterity here. 0 - Windows 5.8MB The device updater readme states that 'Important note: On Microsoft Windows(R) systems, at least driver version 3.0.3 must be installed before updating the firmware provided with this version of DeviceUpdater.'

DRIVER 4.2.0 MUST ME INSTALLED FIRST. During install 'Please make sure that the komplete Audio 6 hardware is not connected during this installation' I unplug the device when prompted, and continue install. I get the install successful notice. After install KA6 control panel states 'no komplete audio 6 found. Please make sure that the interface is plugged in.' Windows states 'the peripheral does not appear to be plugged in' I unplug the device, and restart, plug back in, and still get same notice.

I can not acces the service center. I get a message that says 'windows cannot access the spedified device, path, or file.

You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. Can someone help me out. Micko Nicko September 09, 2017 02:57 Lol Lol Lol, can't believe NI still can't resolve this, guys DO THIS to get back your old driver up and runing: 0) You'll have to remove ALL drivers and files that contain old/new drivers. Search in Program files, even in C: you may even have to go trough registry find and delete all keys containing NIUSB_ENUM, NIKA6 etc. 1)Login and go to this page: UPDATES FOR TRAKTOR, AND LEGACY PRODUCTS 2) Search for: Komplete Audio 6 Driver 3.0.3 Windows and download that driver 3) Install 4) Connect KA6 and Voila - it should be working.
