Freeware Weather Fax Software more. Second Life Griefing Tools Plus. Second Life has been attacked several times by groups of Residents abusing. (new maps or new equipment in the same.

Virtually all the Anti-Griefer tools that I have seen proposed by Linden Labs assume that you spend 100% of your time on land that you own or have administrative control over. But if you are on someone else's land, or in a public place like on a Linden-owned road or river, you're a wide-open target. I would like to see at least some anti-grief tools put in place that apply to INDIVIDUALS, regardless of WHOSE LAND they are on. * Immunity to Push: You can't BE pushed, and the avatar and all objects owned by them can't USE push on anyone else while this is enabled.

Allow some way to consent to a push effect from a specific script or object, so people can still use vehicles and elevators that use push. I DO NOT CONSENT to being shot at and blown up. I don't have any interest in being a victim of some parcel owner who gets their jollies off of blasting away at anyone who happens to walk across their unmarked land borders. I DO NOT CONSENT to being blown out of the sim by some griefer. If I wanted to be playing a first person shooter game, I'd be playing Unreal Tournament, or World of Warcraft. * Visual identification of damage-enabled areas.

Just like we can turn on a view option to see land owners or parcel borders, we should have an option that allows us to realize a parcel that we are approaching is damage-enabled, BEFORE we enter that parcel. When I am exploring, I have no intention of entering someone's live fire zone. I'll go somewhere else, thanks. The little heart indicator that tells you that you're in a damage-enabled area is too little, too late, if they shoot on sight. By the same token, sims that are damage-enabled by default, ilke Jesse, should have a warning indication on the map. * Personal ban list: Ability to select an individual who is griefing or stalking you and make it impossible for them to interact with you. A 'Mute' on a global scale.

You don't see them or their objects, and they don't see you or your objects. Regardless of WHOSE land you are on at the time.

This is similar to being able to put a net troll in a forum into your 'kill file' so you never see their posts. The griefer gets no fun, because they can't affect you or spy on you. Needs to be a large list, like 250 or more individuals, due to the unlimited registration policies. Needs to be a FIFO queue, so old entries drop off the list when it gets full. Needs to automaticly remove people from the list of they have been permenantly banned or their account is deactivated. I'm sure there are other possibilities.

The bottom line is, we should not have to be prisoners on our own land to be safe from griefers. * Personal ban list: Ability to select an individual who is griefing or stalking you and make it impossible for them to interact with you. I've wanted invisibility since I joined SL, fat chance of it happening though. The lindens seem to have a superstition about it, or just a complete misunderstanding of why someone might, for the hell of it, just to not get bugged by people that they would(in less frustrating circumstances) like to have on their friend's list.

This is One of my Banned Accounts showing you what can be done with Scripting in the Secondlife 3D Game. If you Noticed the physics system started acting strange instead of the Balls falling to the ground they started floating up in the air. Now Since the physics Software in Secondlife is not yet up to scratch it kind of messed up the all show. Java Programming Ebooks Free Download. So lets hope that someday soon Secondlife will get to Grips with the physics.

And yes people this is still possible to do with the right Viewer & the Right Scripts. Until Next time People Enjoy;).
